Implementation of Welfare Measures to Prepare for Heatwaves, Including Allowing Remote Work, Providing Cold Beverages, and Flexible Air Conditioning Temperature Adjustment
NextEye announced on the 6th that it is implementing "Emergency Support Measures for Heatwave Preparedness" to protect the health and safety of employees and create a comfortable working environment, in response to the recent continued heatwave warnings.
The company will allow flexible work arrangements and remote work from August 6th to 7th, within a scope that does not disrupt business operations. The approval process has also been simplified, allowing employees approved by their department heads to work from home with only a prior report, without the need for separate document submission procedures.
In addition, if the temperature rises above 35℃, the Management Department will provide cold beverages to employees every day at 2 PM. The company also plans to operate the air conditioning on each floor so that it can be adjusted frequently, reflecting employee feedback.
Along with this, the company has relaxed dress code standards and permitted business casual attire to allow employees to work more comfortably even in sweltering weather. "We prepared this support plan with the health and safety of our employees as our top priority amidst the continuing record-breaking heatwave," a company official stated. "We will continue to establish practical welfare systems tailored to the season and working conditions to ensure employees can work in a safe and pleasant environment."
NextEye urged employees to pay special attention to safety during their commutes and to focus on personal health management, such as by staying hydrated. In addition, the company plans to provide simultaneous work management and support for each department to ensure that work schedules and quality are maintained without disruption, even within a flexible work environment.
